The network consists of 150 independent accounting and management consulting firms with offices in more than 580 cities around the world.Position Summary:SUMMARYThis position is responsible for processing financial statements and general business documents for our audit clients and exercises a high degree of technical competence and administration ability. This position is also responsible for having a clear understanding of the various operating and administrative support needs of the office. Reports to the Office Manager and is a member of the People and Client Support Team.POSITION FUNCTIONS• Produce, format and edit financial statements, letters, reports and other client deliverables or correspondence from draft stage to client-ready work.• Research industry updates and ensures updates are appropriately applied and communicated.• Manage various projects using Microsoft applications from start to finish including high volumes of processing, tracking and compilation and working with others to ensure quality and timely completion.• Provide support to administrative team and other areas as needed within people services and local office.• Review projects and coordinate work flow to ensure adequate coverage with project support.• Utilize tracking systems to ensure all time and materials are recorded, project work and type are tracked, and project instructions and client interactions are fully documented.Qualifications:REQURIED QUALIFICATIONS• Minimum of three years work experience as an administrative assistant in a professional services and/or consulting firm environment.• College course work in office or business administration or equivalent experience required.• Advanced level of expertise in Microsoft Word and Excel are required.• Intermediate level of expertise in Microsoft PowerPoint and Adobe Professional 10 are required.• Expertise in Microsoft Access, Visio and Project as well as Caseware knowledge is preferred.• Exercise a high degree of technical competence and office administration ability.• Knowledge of financial and accounting terminology.• Ability to understand and strictly adhere to the quality standards and procedures established by Crowe Horwath, including brand standards and guidelines.• Highly effective at communicating and planning with good written and proofreading skills.• Ability to build strong working relationships at all levels, internal and/or external to the organization.• Project coordination skills with the ability to leverage others in order to complete projects.• Use knowledge of the business practices and priorities to proactively respond to daily issues and requests as authorized, keeping them apprised of critical issues.• Ability to teach and guide others on use of software, tools and processes and utilize both technical and interpersonal skills to assist clients.• Desire to leverage technology to solve business problems.• Work well independently and in a team with professional presence and exceptional customer service.• Demonstrate openness to new challenges and opportunities and continuous learning.• High-energy level with ability to multi-task while balancing and prioritizing project work with daily responsibilities.OTHER REQUIREMENTS• Able to work flexible hours and occasional Saturday’s based upon project work and peak busy times.• Ability to work overtime as needed based on project schedules and peak business periods.
